BSP500 Overview

The Bluesound Professional BSP500 is a network-active loudspeaker featuring integrated streaming capabilities, specifically engineered for both indoor and outdoor commercial installations. Powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE+ and PoE++), it requires only a single wired connection for both power and audio, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter. Built on the robust BluOS platform, the BSP500 can stream content from local network storage and a wide array of streaming services tailored for commercial use, including SoundMachine, Custom Channels, QSIC, SiriusXM Music for Business, Tunify, and various internet radio stations.

The speaker is equipped with a 5.25” low-frequency driver and a 1” high-frequency driver, powered by a high-efficiency amplifier that includes a low-power standby mode. It delivers a frequency response of 63Hz–23kHz and a total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) of 0.095% at full rated power. With high-efficiency electronics and drive units, the BSP500 provides a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 100dB when using PoE++.
